Music For All Occasions

"Music For All Occasions" was recorded in 2013, I had recorded a similar CD before and wanted a do over. "New Orleans," " I'm Beginning To See The Light," "Moonlight In Vermont," "Sweet Loraine," and "Tea For Two" were on the CD that I decided to re-record.

"Blue Bossa," and "Ain't Misbehavin" were songs I played regularly for my mom and she loved them as well as many others. The rest are selections I have been asked to play over the years.

"Celery Stalks At Midnight" is a piece my dad asked me if I had ever heard of, and of course I hadn't. I looked it up on iTunes, downloaded it and learned it for him. It's a piano rendition of Will Bradley and his Orchestra's version. As always, It's fun and educational for me to record music.

As I was getting ready to record "Spring Can Really Hang You Up The Most" I listened to a recording and noticed that I didn't have the Verse or the Coda in my arrangement. I found some music with the complete arrangement of it and compared it to the recording I had. Here is my rendition of what I discovered.

My desire for this CD was to be musically accurate, and have my style and love of playing piano come through in the recording, and provide an oppurtunity for you to take my piano music home with you.
